Rakhma's approach is holistic with an emphasis on maintaining elders in the least restrictive manner. Rakhma will provide services that are appropriate, while supporting, aiding and involving the family members as caregivers whenever possible and always treating older persons with the joy and love that are the foundation of Rakhma's philosophy.
Most residents come to Rakhma at a point when their socialization needs outweigh their medical or care needs. Residents may be confused alone, but are very successful with items setup, personal reminders or someone to be with them during cares.

As cognitive impairments increase, needs change from set up and reminders to actual hands-on assistance from staff. When the majority of resident's needs fall into a higher level, the care level will be adjusted as follows:
